Run length drives the order
Measure the total linear metres of fence. Post count is roughly run ÷ spacing + 1 for a straight line. Panels follow panel width. Rails are counted per bay between posts.
Corners, steps, and slopes need field judgment. Use Extra ends/corners for additional posts your layout needs beyond a simple line.
Gates and hardware
Gates replace a panel section but still need posts and hardware. Count gates separately and confirm latch/hinge kits on your quote.
