Drain first, then membrane
Weeping tile (perimeter drain) collects water at the footing and sends it to a sump or gravity outlet. Measure the full run: around the footing plus any lead to the sump or daylight. Divide by stick length and round up.
Clear stone around the pipe is often a rectangular trench section — width × depth × run. Add fabric, solid pipe for risers, and cleanouts on the quote. Follow local code and the designer for slope and discharge.
Fittings
Count corners as elbows and junctions as tees or wyes. Prefabricated corners exist for some systems — adjust counts to what you actually buy.
